A2 Test Preparation

The A2 exam is an English language test for speaking and listening. A2 assesses the learners knowledge and understanding of the English language such as communication skills, phonology, lexis and grammar at A2 level. All learners will receive details of the course on induction and given the best support to pass this test first time. 

What is an A2 test?

The A2 exam is a requirement by the Home Office for anyone who is looking to extend they visa in the UK. The actual test is taken by the home office approved providers in different locations around the U.K.  The test is graded either pass or fail.

B1 Test Preparation

The B1 exam is an English language test for speaking and listening.  B1 assesses the learners knowledge and understanding of the English language such as communication skills, phonology, lexis and grammar at B1 level. All learners will receive details of the course on induction and given the best support to pass this test first time.

The B1 exam is a requirement by the Home Office for anyone who is looking to apply for infinite leave to remain (ILP) or British citizenship. The actual test is taken by the home office approved providers in different locations around the U.K. The test is graded either pass or fail.

Life in the UK preparation

At Think SMART we provide training for the Life in the UK exam.  It is a requirement by the Home Office for anyone who is looking to apply for infinite leave to remain (ILP) or British citizenship.  The objective of this test is to ensure everyone living in the U.K has good knowledge of life in the U.K and the language to support to it.  All learners will receive details of the course on induction and provided with the best support to pass this test first time. 

What is the Life in the U.K test?

 Life in the UK test is based on the UK book published by the Home Office.  It has five chapters: 

* The values and principles of the U.K.
* The laws of the U.K and your role.
* The history of the U.K.
* What is the U.K?
* Modern society in the U.K.

In the test learners is given 45minutes to complete the test.  There are 24 questions in the test which are randomly selected from the Life in the U.K book.  Learner has to answer 18 questions correctly to gain 75% pass mark. The actual test is taken by the home office approved providers in different locations around the U.K.
